Horsemanship Workshops

Learn all about horses, practice you riding skills, and make new friends at the barn!

Horsemanship Workshops are a comprehensive 3- or 5-day experience where students learn to ride, have fun around the barn, and stay active over April & summer vacations. In addition to riding, activities include grooming and tacking, basic horse care, horse education, arts and crafts, games, and other fun horse experiences!

Lovelane’s Horsemanship Workshops place students in small groups based on their age and their riding experience. Participants must be at least 5 years old to enroll.

Summer 2026 Enrollment will open on Monday, February 2. Please email [email protected] to be added to the mailing list.

Workshops are led by a licensed riding instructor assisted by our trained volunteers, ensuring that each child receives an individualized experience. Students split time between the barn, our outdoor spaces, and receive an approximately 40-minute small group riding lesson each day.

Space is limited, and Workshops are filled on a first come, first-served basis. Payment is due with registration and secures your child’s enrollment in the program.
