This summer was sunny and warm — perfect weather for a road trip.
So I dusted off my doggie driver’s license and hit the road. But who should I visit?
I decided it was time to drop by to see my good friend Spike and find out how he was getting along at his new home.
As you will remember, Spike retired from his duties as Lovelane lesson horse extraordinaire and barn clown in 2025.
He then moved to his new home, a beautiful farm where he has his own comfortable shed and large pasture to play in.
He mentioned that he has new human and horse-friends, but he is still the barn clown.
Well, I suppose some things never change.
He has fond memories of his many riders and human friends.
Spike also mentioned that he cherishes his remembrances of being the “artist’s canvas” during summer camp.
