Lovelane Executive Director Transition

Dear Lovelane Community,

I am writing to share with you that Megan Donovan will be leaving Lovelane at the end of April to support her husband’s growing business.

Megan started at Lovelane 7 1/2 years ago as the Director of Business and Development, was promoted to Associate Executive Director, and in October 2019, she became Executive Director. Megan’s leadership was instrumental in getting the organization through the pandemic and safely getting our students back in the saddle. We will miss her leadership, passion, and desire to make Lovelane a better place.

To ensure we do not skip a beat, we have asked Debby Sabin to step in as interim Executive Director while seeking a full-time replacement. Debby has accepted and will serve through November 1, 2022. In addition, we appreciate and recognize the full Lovelane staff for their help and flexibility during this transition.

Lovelane’s Board of Directors has established a search committee composed of Allison Moskow, Lisa Bendixen, Mark Julien, and Wil Catlin. We will be finalizing the Executive Director job description by April 15. The search committee welcomes your input or suggestions for candidates; please reach out to Wil Catlin at whc@wilcatlin.com with suggestions or questions.

The Lovelane community cares deeply about the mission and each student entering the ring. The board’s objective is to ensure a collaborative, safe environment for all students, staff, and volunteers.

Thank you for your continued support,

Wil Catlin and Lovelane’s Board of Directors
