Volunteer Groups

Since Lovelane’s 1988 beginning, community involvement has been a meaningful and necessary component of our organization’s success. The offers of local groups and individuals to volunteer have been overwhelming, and we are extremely grateful for this unfailing generosity. However, it has become difficult to accommodate all those who wish to help at our Lincoln facility. Instead, we ask that larger groups consider the following alternatives. We hope these ideas will inspire you and are, as always, so appreciative of your time and effort. Thank you again and happy helping!

Create your own local fundraiser!

- Smaller-scale, independent fundraisers such as bake sales or car washes are always great opportunities for involvement. All monetary amounts make a difference and provide the barn with important resources.

Hold or toy or book drive!

- The donation of toys, books, and games, whether on an individual level or through larger drives, is a great way to give back to students and their families. Toys are used both in lessons as well as in on-site waiting rooms. Of course, be sure that these items are complete and in working condition.

Prepare and deliver outdoor landscaping or decorations!

- Flowers and other exterior decorations are a great way to brighten up Lovelane’s grounds as we move into warmer seasons. The cheerier, the better!
