Barn Buddies
Barn Buddies is a unique and effective off-the-horse program designed to capitalize on both our barn setting and the enthusiasm many children have for horses. This supplemental program is personalized for each student and is focused on their individual therapy goals. Barn Buddies enables our current riders to work more closely with the horses they love; provides children on our waitlist an opportunity to experience Lovelane while they wait for a spot in our core program; and offers children in the community a chance to become part of the Lovelane family. Challenging and fun, Barn Buddies places students in small groups guided by specially-trained volunteers and a PATH-certified Therapeutic Horseback Riding Instructor.
In a SUPPORTIVE SMALL GROUP setting Barn Buddies
participants have the opportunity to develop a variety of
life-enhancing abilities including:
- Social pragmatic skills

- Pre-vocational skills
