Lovelane is thrilled to welcome four new members of the Board of Directors.  Over the past year, Lynn Bay Dayton, Peter Hadelman, Heather Stone and John Fossett have been appointed to the Lovelane Board.   They join ten current Board members who are responsible for the vision, governance  and fiscal health of the organization.  We appreciate their commitment to the mission of Lovelane and their willingness to serve in this capacity.  See press release for complete story.

“Lovelane is Wonderful!!” 08/26/11

Student Nate P. has been riding at Lovelane for 8 years, and is a big fan! In his lessons he works on strengthening his core muscles, improving his endurance, and working on balance — all of which help him continue to work towards his success in mobility and walking.  To celebrate his 12th birthday this year, Nate created, directed and starred in a play. He then donated gifts made in his honor to Lovelane! As a budding young actor, director, horseback rider and philanthropist, we think Nate is pretty WONDERFUL too!!

In that time, not only have programs like Lovelane grown exponentially, but the science behind hippotherapy has grown as well. Bill Littlefield meets with the children, therapists, and horses that help cowboys and cowgirls walk and–sometimes–talk.
